Lately we have been receiving significantly more calls regarding Microsoft’s System Center Configuration Manager software and how this product can be used to stream virtual applications to clients. Basically the challenge we notice some of our customers are facing, is how they can benefit from a scalable, location based distribution method (like SCCM) while at the same time maintaining application manageability with RES Workspace Manager.

What is Server App-V?

A script to allow easy testing of your App-V package on any OS
Time and patience are required when creating App-V packages and testing them on various operating systems. You should always target your packages for the right operating system (OS), but testing shows that a package made for one Windows OS may run on another Windows version. This PowerShell script modifies .OSD files for you so that you can test your packages against any OS, such as Windows 8!
